History

The Grove was founded by Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin in 2008. Today, in partnership with Lord Tatanka, Lady Ashlen is honored to serve as the Grove's High Priestess and continue the work Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin began. We provide a sanctuary for seekers in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. Our group is anti-racist, neuro-diverse, LGBTQ+ affirming, and family friendly. We gather regularly for fellowship, classes, workshops, and to celebrate the sabbats.


2024

In May:

  • Lady Jasmine announced her intention to depart from Grove of the Willow Wood.
  • Lady Jasmine, Lord Agathos Daemon, and Lord Osgar departed Grove of the Willow Wood to form a new coven with the love, support, and blessings of Lady Ashlen, Lord Tatanka, and members of the Grove's Elder Council.
  • We continue to honor Lady Jasmine as the Grove's founding High Priestess and are grateful for her years of dedicated service.

2023

At Samhain:

  • Lord Tatanka formally assumed the role of High Priest of the Grove ot the Willow Wood with support from members of the Grove and Elders from the greater Craft community.
  • Lord Solandrin assumed the role of High Priest Emeritus for the Grove.

2022

In October:

  • Lady Ashlen formally assumed the role of the High Priestess of Grove of the Willow Wood with support from and in the presence of members of of the Grove and Elders from the greater Craft community.
  • Lord Agathos Daemon was elevated to the rank of 3rd degree by Lady Ashlen and Lord Solandrin in the presence of and with support from Elders of the Grove and the greater Craft community.

2021

In July:

  • Lady Ashlen, Lord Tatanka, and Lord Dante Kai were elevated to the rank of 3rd degree by Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin in the presence of and with support from Elders of the Grove and the greater Craft community.

2021

At Beltane:

  • Lady Ashlen began serving as the acting High Priestess of the Grove ot the Willow Wood at Lady Jasmine's request and with support from Lord Solandrin and the Grove's initiate body.
  • Lady Jasmine assumed the role of High Priestess Emeritus for the Grove.

2017

In October:

  • Lord David-Michael was elevated to the rank of 3rd degree by Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin in the presence of and with support from Elders of the Grove and the greater Craft community.

2008

At Lammas:

  • Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin, initiates of Lady Larina, formally and ritually hived from Ravenwood with the love, support, and blessings of many Craft Elders and Craft brothers and sisters.
At Mabon:
  • The Grove of the Willow Wood celebrated its first sabbat.
